Bowen is an amazing form of holistic bodywork! With gentle rolling movements performed over specific structures (muscles, tendons, ligaments etc.) to release adhesions and stiffness in the fascia which creates signals sent to the autonomic nervous system to help the body switch to reset and repair from the flight or flight response. The intricate messages continue their work for several days and most people start seeing results within 1-3 sessions, but many people like to return for its re-balancing and health benefits. People with chronic conditions may need lengthier
treatment.
Tom Bowen or Geelong, Australia pioneered this technique in the 1950’s and is now practiced world wide and partnered with the American Occupational Therapy Association, California Board of Registered Nurses, National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork and the Oregon Board of Naturopathic Medicine.

Meet Holly
Professional Bowenwork Practitioner since 2010 through The Bowen Therapy Academy of Australia (Bowtech the Original Bowen Technique).
As a student of Ballet and Pilates plus a former USA Gymnastics Coach, Certified Stretching and Flexibility Coach (NASM) and a respiratory therapist for 30 years- I understand breath and breathing in so many ways. From being in the delivery room helping babies take their first breath of life and helping patients with all forms of breathing struggles I have been there to support them with care and comfort. Being an athletic coach I've seen and experienced wins and loses. As a dancer and dabbling in yoga,, I have felt breathing in such beautiful ways. As an asthmatic, I can say I know what it's like to not be able to breathe. It's fitting that I am a Libra which is associated with the element Air.
Meet Christina
CPT, CCES, Pilates
I was a competitive gymnast for 15 years and a coach for 20 years through USA Gymnastics. I have been an acro dance coach for 2 years now. I have coached athletes through many State, Regional and National level Championships throughout my career. I always have loved strength, conditioning and the movement of the body. With my background, I truly felt a calling to help people in their exercise journey. Focusing on body weight exercises, I am here to help you wherever you are in your journey (motivation, form, plans etc.)
